Those attending are asked (but not required) to bring socks and underwear for children ages 6-12 that will be delivered to an orphanage in Haiti. Chasing Eden International currently provides a child sponsorship for C.A.D orphanage in Fonds Parisien, Haiti. Only $37 per month provides one of these children with food, medical care, education, hygiene products, and clothes. C.A.D. stands for Center Action Development and is an orphanage started for children who are considered to be in the worst of the worst situations in Haiti. To put it in perspective, child slavery is legal in Haiti. This orphanage is made up of children who are in such bad situations that the government sees the need for them to be in a special facility. In one of the poorest countries in the world, where child slavery is legal, these children are said by an uninvolved government to be in such awful condition that they need to be taken to a special facility.
BUT they have hope! Chasing Eden International exists to restore and rebuild neglected and poverty stricken communities such as C.A.D orphanage. We desire to empower individuals to be a part of the journey of providing hope to the poor, orphaned, and the forgotten. Please join us for a night of great music and hope for the orphaned children of Haiti.
