Quick Facts:

  • A newlywed couple was targeted by thieves over the weekend.
  • They got married Saturday at the Dresser Mansion near 18th and Riverside.
  • Thieves made off with the entire table full of gifts and cards.

Thieves are accused of ruining a Tulsa couple's wedding when they ran off with all of their gifts.

Rebecca and Brandon Beach got married Saturday at the Dresser Mansion near 18th and Riverside. Thieves managed to clear off their entire gift table, including cards.

All that’s left is a garbage bag full of torn up wrapping paper.

Brandon found some shredded cards in a dumpster outside. They are upset that not only were gifts and money taken, but the handwritten cards were destroyed.

They tried to salvage as many cards as they could. The couple said it was tough to tell loved ones that the money they spent on them was taken by thieves.

Staff at Dresser Mansion said this has never happened at one of their events before.

The family started a GoFundMe campaign to try to replace what was taken.
