Hear Nick Mason Talk Saucerful Of Secrets Tour, Pink Floyd And More

Rock Hall of Famer Nick Mason talks touring with Nick Mason’s Saucerful of Secrets, the band described as being Psychedelic, Pink Floyd and more.

Nick Mason’s Saucerful of Secrets had originally planned their 2022 The Echoes tour to take place in January and February of the year.

The shows were postponed due to spikes in the pandemic.

Now beginning on September 22nd, 2022 the tour will kick off in Boston.

The band was formed in 2018 featuring Pink Floyd cofounder Nick Mason on drums, Floyd touring bassist Guy Pratt, guitarists Gary Kemp and Lee Harris, and keyboardist Dom Beken.

The idea was that since many people’s first exposure to Pink Floyd was “Dark Side Of The Moon” in 1973, the band would focus on earlier Floyd tunes.

Recently we spoke with Nick about the upcoming tour, the differences between Saucerful of Secrets and Pink Floyd and if there is a chance that Nick would ever perform with the other surviving Floyd members, Roger Waters and David Gilmour.
