Roger Waters is currently out on his “This Is Not A Drill” tour.
The majority of the music is Pink Floyd tunes plus there is a lot of politic content.
Before the show begins Roger’s voice echoes words on the screens in the arenas where the show has taken place.
At first he asks concert goers to take their seats as the show is about to begin.
Then he mentions there are two public announcements.
The first is a request to turn off your cell phones out of consideration for your fellow patrons.
The second is a bit more interesting as Roger says “And secondly, if you’re one of those “I love Pink Floyd, but I can’t stand Roger’s politics” people you might do well to F*ck off to the bar right now.”
Watch the disclaimer below.
A lot of people may think this would hurt ticket sales.
But the tour is selling well and the arenas seem to be quite full.
This is not the first time Roger has been outspoken on politics.
Back in 2017 I asked Roger what he thought about celebrities speaking out on politics.
His answer is directly below.
What does Roger have to say today, especially about his “This Is Not A Drill’ Tour?
