35th Annual Chili Bowl Nationals underway with COVID-19 protocols

Masks required, temperature checks at the door

One of the largest indoor racing events in the world is back for the 35th year in Tulsa.

The Chili Bowl Nationals are underway at Expo Square.

Qualifying rounds began Monday night and continue through Friday.

The event wraps up with the feature races on Saturday.

Organizers have made implemented safety protocols for COVID-19.

Masks are required in the building, unless you’re eating, drinking or sitting at a table. Temperature checks are happening at the door and hand sanitizer is available.

Reserved general bleacher seating tickets have been reduced to a 25% capacity of a normal year.
