83 graves have been found in fifth excavation at Oaklawn Cemetery

TULSA, Okla. — 83 graves have been found during the fifth round of excavation at Oaklawn Cemetery as part of the 1921 Tulsa Race Massacre Graves Investigation.

The City of Tulsa claims they were unaware of any of these graves. A total of eight bodies have been exhumed as of Monday.

Out of the eight, one of them had a gunshot wound, and all of the other bodies will continue to be examined at the on-site osteology lab.
