The TCFPA voted to cancel the fair but there is still a chance for other events usually held at the fair including livestock events to still be held.

Tulsa County Commissioner Karen Keith said Monday that Dr. Bruce Dart of the Tulsa Health Department had looked over the fair’s plan and his comments were presented at Tuesday’s meeting.

“I just can’t imagine that we can get people together on that Midway and do it safely. You could see from other fairs like the Springfield fair, nobody’s wearing their mask, and they’re clustered together because we’re social being and it’s just a fun thing to do. I just think it’s a difficult thing to really stand up.”
