The Tulsa Health Department has issued warnings about possible scams going around involving COVID-19.
THD said in a tweet that there are reports of people receiving calls from what appears to be the official health department phone number.
In one example, THD said the caller asks for personal information in exchange for an at-home COVID-19 test.
THD said you will never get a call asking for your private data like that.
We have also received reports from individuals who received a call that appears to be from our main phone number, claiming to confirm their vaccine appointment. The only way to receive your appt. confirmation is through the email you used to register in the OK Vaccine Portal.
