Man dead after crash on 41st Street

Police found drugs in the car

A man is dead after a crash on 41st Street near Memorial in Tulsa.

Police said the crash happened around 6 a.m. Thursday.

We’re told a driver was going west on 41st when he drifted into the eastbound lanes and struck another vehicle.

Officers said the driver was rushed to the hospital in cardiac arrest where he later died.

Police confirmed methamphetamine was found in the car and officers said appeared to have been recently used. The medical examiner will determine if the drugs played a role in the crash and the driver’s death.

The driver of the other car is okay, but did report back pain and was taken to the hospital to be treated.
