Multiple water stations provided as Okmulgee County residents experience water outages

OKMULGEE COUNTY, Okla. — Lots of folks who get their water from rural water districts in Okmulgee County are seeing little to no water pressure.

This is due to multiple water leaks from the recent winter storm last week.

One man in Henryetta said he’d been without water for five days.

There are multiple water buffalo stations scattered throughout the county that are available for people to get water. The county asks residents to bring their own containers for fill-ups.

Water crews are emphasizing the importance of water conservation so the water pressure can continue to build and water can be restored.

Update 2/21 5PM - Water distribution points: At this time there are water buffalos available to the residents affected...
