Tulsa Police are investigating after human remains were found near the Osage Casino.
TPD says officers responded to a wooded area just north of 76th Street North and east of the Osage Casino Tuesday around 10:30 p.m. Osage Nation Police say someone in the woods found a body while walking their dog.
TPD reports the body was heavily decomposed. Police say the wooded area is frequently populated with homeless people, although it is unknown if the person found was unhoused.
The Medical Examiner’s office responded and will determine the cause of death and identity of the body.
