Man arrested in connection with deadly shooting at Tulsa house party

TULSA, Okla. — Police arrested a man in north Tulsa on Tuesday in connection with a recent deadly shooting.

Tulsa police arrested Coryeion Vonquavious at a north Tulsa home.

The arrest comes after a man was shot at a house party Friday night, police said.

Police responded to the shooting that night at a home around 10 p.m. in the 1300 block of N. Cheyenne.

Desmond Clayton, 19, was found shot multiple times, police said. Clayton was taken to the hospital where he later died.

Police said the home was an AirBnB rental where a party was being held.

About 25 people were at the party, police said.

Vonquavious is facing charges for first-degree murder.

AirBnB said in a statement, ““Airbnb bans parties and we condemn this senseless violence, which has no place in the Airbnb community. We have banned this guest from our platform.”
