Police arrested Anthony Towles, of Tyrone, on several charges including two felony counts of aggravated assault with an attempt to cause bodily injury and one count of making terroristic threats, WJAC-TV and WTAJ-TV reported.

Officials told WJAC the incident happened Sunday outside a Five Guys restaurant in Altoona where both Towles and the victim worked. Investigators told the news station that two got into an argument inside the restaurant after the victim accused Towles of not working hard enough.

The pair took their argument to a rear parking lot outside Five Guys, where the victim told police that Towles told him, “I’m going to kill you,” according to WTAJ.

The victim told police that Towles stabbed him with a pen and punched him, WJAC reported. Towles admitted to pulling a pen out of his sock and swinging it at the victim, though he claimed he was aiming for the man’s shoulder after being struck multiple times himself, according to the news station.

Police told WTAJ the victim had an inch-long cut on the left side of his head behind his ear, inches away from his carotid artery.

Authorities booked Towles into Blair County Prison, where he remained Wednesday, jail records show.
