GRAYS HARBOR, Wash. — A Washington state trooper took three goats home after they were found roaming a highway on Tuesday.
Three goats were spotted wandering around Highway 12, according to a tweet from Washington State Trooper Katherine Weatherwax.
According to KIRO, the goats’ owner wasn’t home so they were unable to come to pick them up. So Weatherwax “corralled them” into the back of the patrol vehicle and gave them a ride home.
Weatherwax replied to her tweet, saying that goats were only given a verbal warning for their behavior, according to KIRO.

The owner wasn’t home to come get them so in the back seat they went. The goats have since been safely returned to their residence! #goatincustody #yourWSP pic.twitter.com/SiNo1dtTBB
