Doobie Brothers Live at Five

Wednesday 10-12 Doobie Brothers – Long Train Runnin’

The Doobie Brothers story is a tale of two bands. They were a “Biker Band” playing Rock and Roll. In the mid 70’s, guitarist/vocalist Tom Johnston was forced to leave the band due to heath issues. They added Jeff “Skunk” Baxter from Steely Dan on guitar and Michael McDonald on keyboards and vocals. The result was a major change in their sound to a blue eyed soul/jazz sound. Today live at five features Long Train Runnin’ from The Doobies live CD Rockin’ Down The Highway: The Wild Life Concert. It was recorded on July 30, 1996
