Teen mom, baby connected to Amber Alert now in custody, Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office says

LAWTON, Okla. — UPDATE (8/4; 6:40 p.m.) — The Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office confirmed to FOX23 that 16-year-old Chasity Sellman and her six-month-old baby, Carson, are now in custody as well.

UPDATE (8/4; 6:30 p.m.) The FBI is now assisting the Lawton Police Department with this Amber Alert.

UPDATE (08/04; 5:36 p.m.) — The subject believed to be related to the Amber Alert is in custody in Muskogee, by Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office. The 16-year-old and 6-month-old have not been found yet. The missing children are now believed to be in a white Chevy, four-door pickup with no tailgate.

An Amber Alert has been issued for a 16-year-old girl and a 6-month-old baby out of Lawton.

Police say that Chasity Sellman’s foster mother reported her missing. Chasity and her infant son are believed to be with her father, 49-year-old Don Sellman.

A description of their clothing was not immediately released.
