Def Leppard’s bass player, Rick Savage, celebrates his birthday today on Live at Five. Drummer Rick Allen lost his arm in a car crash on New Year’s Eve in 84. The band never looked for a replacement. Tragedy struck again in early 1991 when guitarist Steve Clark died from a mix of alcohol and prescription drugs. Vivian Campbell formerly from DIO and Whitesnake replaced Clark. This live version of Pour Some Sugar on Me is from their Live: In the Clubs, in Your Face CD. It was recorded live in Bonn, Germany in 1992.
