Stevie Ray Vaughn was born and raised in Dallas, Texas. He started playing the guitar when he was just 7 years old. He became one of the greatest guitarists in the history of Rock and Roll. SRV earned Six Grammy Award, he was inducted in to the Blues Hall of Fame, the Musicians Hall of Fame and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Stevie Ray Vaughn died in a helicopter crash on August 27, 1990…he was only 35. This version of Superstition and Pride and Joy are from his Live Alive CD was recorded in July of 86 at the Opera House in Austin.
