When he was just 10 years old, Tom Petty met Elvis Presley. Tom’s uncle worked on the set of Elvis’s movie “Follow that Dream” and invited young Tom to come down and watch the movie shoot. After he saw The Beatles on the Ed Sullivan Show in 1964 …he knew he wanted to be in a band.
