Former president Trump attends NCAA Wrestling Championships in Tulsa

TULSA, Okla. — Former president Donald Trump made a stop in Tulsa Saturday.

Trump was in town to attend the NCAA Wrestling Championships at the BOK Center alongside Oklahoma Senator Markwayne Mullin and Governor Kevin Stitt.

Prior to heading into the BOK Center, Senator Mullin and Governor Stitt stopped to talk with local media about the visit.

Governor Stitt said the visit was solely focused on the wrestling tournament, and that there was no other event associated with Trump’s stop in Tulsa.

Senator Mullin echoed that statement, saying Trump used to wrestle a bit when he was younger, and that Trump is a big wrestling fan.

Trump was not present or available for questions during the brief talk with reporters.

Trump’s visit comes not long after the 45th President of the United States indicated on his social media platform Truth Social that he may be arrested Tuesday.

“NOW ILLEGAL LEAKS FROM A CORRUPT & HIGHLY POLITICAL MANHATTAN DISTRICT ATTORNEYS OFFICE, WHICH HAS ALLOWED NEW RECORDS TO BE SET IN VIOLENT CRIME & WHOSE LEADER IS FUNDED BY GEORGE SOROS, INDICATE THAT, WITH NO CRIME BEING ABLE TO BE PROVEN, & BASED ON AN OLD & FULLY DEBUNKED (BY NUMEROUS OTHER PROSECUTORS!) FAIRYTALE, THE FAR & AWAY LEADING REPUBLICAN CANDIDATE & FORMER PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, WILL BE ARRESTED ON TUESDAY OF NEXT WEEK. PROTEST, TAKE OUR NATION BACK!,” Trump wrote in his post Saturday morning.

Trump is currently seeking reelection in 2024.
