Skittles is making a big change.
Out is the green apple flavor and in is lime.
Lime was the green Skittle flavor when the candy launched back in 1979, but it was replaced by green apple in 2014.
The company said in a press release announcing lime’s return that, “Green Apple has had a good run but the fans have spoken.”
With the flavor change, the company said both original and sour packs of Skittles will have orange, lemon, grape, strawberry and lime starting later this fall.
