A report from the Oklahoma Highway Patrol said it happened around 9:20 p.m. on I-44, two miles east of Bristow.

The report said 41-year-old Ihor Burdeinyi of Chattanooga, Tenn. was driving eastbound on I-44, when he hit 30-year-old Amy Moore of Tulsa, who was walking in the roadway.
